Worpdress custom fields not showing in Pods template fields list

    Hello,

    I have discovered an easy way to have repeatable field/multiple values for a field using WordPress custom fields option (activated as described in wordpress-custom-fields-101-tips-tricks-and-hacks.

    But I have 2 “problems”:

    1. When adding new fields (not existing previously) via this wordpress custom fields form, they are not offered in the fields list for use in the Pods template.
    2. On post edit page when choosing custom field that was originally created by Pods and I add additional value (for example additional dates for the event or additional book buy link) it isn’t entered. Only if I add fully new custom field and update post then I can add to that field multiple values, but not to the preexisting Pods fields. Any solution to that not to wait for Pods release 2.9 for repeatable fields?

      Hope there are solutions for these 2 issues. ??

    Hi @vesnama

    You are trying to “hack” your wanted functionality into Pods.
    This simply isn’t possible since Pods doesn’t support this functionality yet.

    You can always fully create your own custom fields aside from Pods.
    Alternatively you’ll have to wait for Pods repeatable fields.

    Hehe ?? I understand. Thank you. Looking forward to future updates and I’m sure I’ll soon be supporter by donating ?????? I really like this product and much more then most known competition due to reason that I really like the way Pods template are set up ??
