• Hi, we received an email from Linkedin about changes to their API:

“You’re receiving this message because our records indicate?one or more of your apps requires changes that must be completed by June 30,?2023″.

Are you going to update the plugin before this time?

We are really worried, as we used too your Plugin WP Twitter Auto Publish, and as you know it doesn′t work anymore after Twitter v2 API update.

Are we going to face same problem with you Linkedin plugin, as we faced with your Twitter plugin, that doesn′t work anymore? Or you will be updating it before the update end period?

Thank you for your time and information.

@anjali94 we had to WP Rollback to v. 1.8 and everything worked back againg (publishing format), so there is something in this new version 1.9 that doesn′t work at publising format.

We have submitted a thread to linkedin developer support regarding the parameter used for handling message format.
It seems like the character limit is different.
We will check and get back to you asap.

    Thank you.

Thank you @anjali94! The point it’s that old app v1.8 is still working well with all format parameters, its like weird ?? Thanks once more!

Hi @anjali94, did you receive any news from linkedin developer support yet? You last reply was more than a month ago and we would like to know if this is fixed and we can update plugin or if we have to still wait a bit more. Thnak you for your time once more.

    Hello @ibiza69 ,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.I want to apologize for the delay in responding to your support request. It was not our intention to overlook it, and we genuinely appreciate your patience.
The response from linkedin was like 3000 characters are supported.
and it seems like there is some special character escaping for those texts.
Could you please send a mail to [email protected] / [email protected] and share the thread link .
We will share updated files via mail, and if that fixes the issue then we will update plugin files accordingly.
also share a post link from your website so that we can use that content to test it at our end.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Anjali
