Worse plugin ever

  • I purchased the Pro plugin for ElementsKit when it first came out. It’s been nothing but buggy. I actually only used it on 1 site build because more than half of the plugin doesn’t work and never has. I tried to use it again to see if things have been worked out and still a big pile of crap. The widget builder only lets me create 7 widgets and then it rewrites the ones I’ve already created. The Table widget isn’t responsive. The tabs widget sucks. The mega menu outputs code that isn’t even structured properly. The plugin is so bloated and slow. I highly recommend to stay far away from this plugin unless you want a bunch of headaches.

    Hope you are doing fine and thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant experience with the ElementsKit Plugin.

    I’d like to inform you that we perform compatibility tests on a daily basis. If any issues come up after the test, we tried to fix that in no time. I tested the components of ElementsKit that you mentioned in your review, on a completely updated environment and I’d like to assure you that everything is working fine there. I couldn’t be able to reproduce any issues there.

    Each environment may consist of different themes and plugins. Maybe the problems you’ve experienced are a result of theme or Plugin conflict. Since there are so many plugins and Themes ut in the market, it is quite difficult to perform compatibility tests with each of them. But, if we can trace the conflict and our plugin has any involvement, we will definitely fix that issue as soon as possible.

    Would you please create a new thread or support ticket and share the System Info(Tools > Site Health > Info) of your site? We will recreate the same environment and check everything accordingly. If we’re able to trace the issues, we will definitely try to provide a solution as soon as possible.

    Among the issues you’ve mentioned, only one looks familiar which is the Responsiveness of the Table Widget. We have included a controller in the Table widget to make the Table responsive on every device. Until that controller is turned on, the Table will not appear responsively. You can check this screenshot for a better understanding.

    I also would like to inform you that when you’re using the ElementKit plugin, a very minimal number of resources gets loaded on the frontend which barely can cause performance issue. So, requesting you to share the system info by creating a support thread so that we can examine it deeply and let you know an update as early as possible.

    I hope you will rethink about the review after getting a resolution from us. Expecting your cooperation in this matter and we are always ready to assist you.
