WORST Editor I’ve ever used

  • It is just so bad, when I buy a theme made with this editor I hate it everytime. It has great potential but it failed over the years. Common issues I’ve found over the last years developing dozen of sites with Elementor.

    – Slowest Editor, impossibly slow
    – Crashes often when just loading the editor
    – Interface doesn’t have WordPress in mind and should be different considering how WordPress has been made
    – Ask everywhere to pay PRO version
    – Pro version is overpriced when you already bought a theme

    I really wished that this editor would have never have gotten such attention and popularity.

    It’s just not good.

  • HI, I’m surprised by your comment, Elementor is fast for me, you’re probably talking about loading the editor and not the workspace.

    I use it for over 6 years and I had, it’s true, some unstable versions. Using Divi builder in addition, Bricks and editors integrated into themes, it is by far the fastest, most productive and most efficient.

    On the other hand, I don’t work with any paid themes but Hello, which is dedicated to Elementor, your problems probably come from the themes you choose (avoid The 7, Be, Bridge and others).

    For the aspect of the remote editor of WordPress you should try Gutenberg to understand that the WP workflow is not the most successful, it is even rather poor in general.
