• I have a site . I want to change my hosting server and opted to dreamhost. I signed up for it and paid the amount for 1year hosting plan. But they didnt create the account. Instead they replied that your account is pending because we have a problem in automatically activating the account. But after one day the account status changed to disabled in place of pending. I tried to contact the support. They are not responding. After being a reputed hosting company not responding users is a bad thing! I am really disappointed in this!

    There really isn’t anything we can do about that here, we aren’t affiliated with DreamHost in any way that would give us (the volunteers on the WordPress Support Forums) the powers to intervene on your behalf.

    The only suggestion I could really offer is to try again at https://www.dreamhost.com/support/

    If they took your money and failed to create your account, that’s a situation that can only be corrected by either them or you.

    I have two accounts with Dreamhost hosting over 50 wordpress installations, and I have had no problem with them whatsoever, apart from server speeds being a little slow for my heavy-load websites (large online shops etc).

    Take it up with them. They have live chat support. It doesn’t get better than that in terms of service.

    Hosting topics can get really spammy very quickly and that’s why they get closed down when found. Which I’m doing now.

    Please try that support link James posted if you need Dreamhost support.
