• WHY? Why would you make it so freaking complicated to change the associated wordpress.com account? I used one of my client’s account accidentally to connect my new store and now I can’t remove the damn connection. What kind business analysts did you have writing the requirements for this plugins? Incredibly bad experience! And it’s such a shame because the plugin overall works fine after you go through the setup.

LE: after finding on my own how to disconnect the wordpress.com account from the plugin I changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars. Plugin is fine overall but after setting it up literally over 100 times myself, I can say the setup experience is just…bad in at least 50% of my experiences.

Here is the topic if someone lese ever has the same problem: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-do-i-remove-connection-to-the-wrong-wordpress-com-account/

    Hi @mehiusrex ,

Sorry about your experience with the account connections. The extension has options to disconnect and reconnect all accounts, except they aren’t exposed directly on the setup page. There is a connection/debugging page as part of the extension available at "/wp-admin/admin.php?page=connection-test-admin-page" that can help with disconnections and reconnections and syncing products. This is also documented on the FAQs page and common errors page extensions page. It’s unfortunate that you didn’t find this document on time. We could have assisted you had you created a support thread first instead of the review. Please don’t hesitate to debug your connection issues using the debug page on your site. Thanks.

Hi @simplysaru. The debugging page is completely useless for wordpress.com connection issues. Why? You don’t have the option to disconnect from WordPress.com. Here’s proof of that: https://imgur.com/a/9NypfjH

Your FAQ page and Common Erros page do not cover the scenario where you need to disconnect WordPress.com account and you don’t have Jetpack installed.

Please actually take the time to read and understand my problem before replying with a canned (standardized) comment. ??

Your problem with this plugin that caused me 3 hours of unnecessary frustration is: you can’t disconnect from Jetpack (WordPress.com) from inside Google for Woocommerce (your plugin).

Why would you not make this easy to do? I had to figure it out on my own that I need to install Jetpack (even though I never had it installed) to be able to disconnect from Jetpack (and wordpress.com). Does that not sound absurd to you?

Hi @mehiusrex , Sorry, I missed the part about the Jetpack disconnection. I wish you had created your support request sooner. We could have guided you better. I will make sure to update the documentation about disconnecting Jetpack as well.

Well, before contacting support I wanted to make sure I tried all possible options. I read through all support threads related to this issue and none could fix it for me.

Thank you for updating the documentation, that will surely help improve overall user experience with your plugin. But for a definitive fix I suggest you make it easy to disconnect from wordpress.com from your plugin.

I am really curious to know why this isn’t a functionality already? It seems so basic to me. It either was missed when requirements were written or there’s a technical blocker. Either way, this should be built in your plugin’s functionality.
