• So I’ve now used Customizr to build two sites and I know I’ll use it again in future because of it’s clean look and great built-in functions and options. It IS a theme that requires an investment of time at the front end, especially if you plan to incorporate customizations that aren’t part of the theme options. The biggest challenges I faced were removal of the theme credit and centering of the navigation. If you’re getting started with Customizr, just be aware that there are solutions and great support available from the developers, but it will take some time and code-work. Also – a number of child theme plugins will not work with Customizr, so be sure to use one that is recommended by the theme author. One thing on my wish list for this theme would be to be able to create a full-length header that will span the full width of the document window, or even just to the margins of the template that has two sidebars.
