Worthy of an Award

I have implemented global tech support operations for two major medical companies before striking out on my own as a web consultant. Truly well done tech support is rare these days. This system contains everything an educated and/or formally trained Support Resources Director or Manager of Technical Support would ever need to do technical support correctly. If you lack such training, no worries. This thing just might save you from yourself when it comes to tracking all the requests that are inevitable with a tech operation. I still use Trello, but now I can focus on using Trello for what it is really supposed to be used for, and allow this plugin to expand my operations into specialized territory that has the potential to re-capture a lot of revenue. This is an amazingly inexpensive system that supports a key paradigm in the problem resolution protocycle: Root Cause Analysis. Beyond that, it can enhance your business AND technical support operations in many ways. It has fantastic documentation, an extremely intuitive setup procedure, and a feature set that makes sense for its intended use case. In the right hands, this plugin can easily transform both the internal operations and client-facing operations of any company. It is extremely well thought out and instantly practical. This is worthy of an award. It is right up there WP-Client for it’s use case (and I’m going to push it and see if I can use it inside WP-Client Hub Pages…but that’s just my own thing to try), and anything delivered by my other favorite company, iThemes. It is stable, fast, and easy to customize. It is feature rich, incredibly flexible, and very easy to style and brand. This is worthy of an award. It is one of those plugins that truly helps set the WordPress community apart from the rest. I bought the premium version immediately. To me it was a no-brainer. Kudos to the author for publishing a plugin that increases dramatically the relevance of WordPress to company operations and infrastructure.
ADDENDUM (Jan. 2015): I have been working directly with the plug-in author to provide specific customizations for a client that I am implementing this system for to build up his own software development infrastructure. The author is responsive, professional, and extremely interested in making sure I am satisfied with the work. His philosophy of customer care is clearly reflected in the way this plugin was structured and the thought processes behind it. I am glad I paid for it. Totally worth it.
