• I tried it, the idea seems good (I have yet to look at the code), my judgment is more than good.
However, we assume that you wrote …
…It can be a huge time saver if you have a very popular blog or article directory. |

Well then my advice is to improve first [fep_article_list] using a ‘pagination for the items (some of my authors have more than 1,000)

    another small problem:
if a member is not writing access: [fep_submission_form]
    receive this error:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent in /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/htdocs/wordpress/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 876

A, I forgot, it would be ideal also select the sub-category, in addition to one category.
thanks anyway, let me know if you can fix these problems,

my hasty solution for the category would be to replace:
    wp_dropdown_categories
    wp_category_checklist

…but still would get a nice long list
    it takes a box? …

I’ll try to have these issues fixed in the next version. Thanks a lot for your input.

    Hi,

Allow me to introduce you some other feature suggestions, in addition to pagination and category checkbox ??

    – If Category checkbox, allow admin to set a min and max categories to check.
    – Allow admin to remove Tag field, in order to prevent users to create thousand and thousand tags.
    – Allow translations via po/mo files (I can send you french translation)
    – Rather than create an author bio via Custom field: create a front-end page for profiles where users can update their profile fields, including the Author Bio for instance, but also their social networks?
    – Add an anti-spam field and/or a honeypot field (hidden field to fight against spams).
    – Link the form to Comment Blacklist of WordPress (in options-discussions.php), to prevent from trolls, racist posts, etc…

It’s a very very nice plugin! WordPress need an efficient front-end publishing plugin.

I’m glad you like the plugin. I will try to include all these features in the upcoming versions.

I didn’t include a frontend page for profiles because there are already some very good plugins out there that take care of the profile and login page (Theme My Login for instance).

I could’ve used the default wordpress bio instead of adding a custom field below the form but many guest bloggers want to submit a new bio with each article, usually for SEO purposes.

Right now the plugin uses nonces for security. I know it’s not foolproof so I may add a captcha or honeypot to the form.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to share your ideas.
