Would all data of v2 imported?

    Hi,

    i like the new features of columns up to ecommerce. Now we have some sites which have version 2 of mailpoet. If i install the beta, would be all data imported automatically?

    Hi @pictibe,

    unfortunately, no. There’s no automatic data import at this moment. The only thing you can do is export your current list of subscribers from MailPoet 2 and import them again in MailPoet 3.

    Rest assured, we plan on releasing a proper import/export tool to help our users migrate between the two versions of MailPoet as soon as our beta period is over.

    I think it should be an easy import for all subscribers and the old newsletters. I know it about other plugins which has an alert after activate which ask for it.

    @pictibe not as easy as it looks because we’ve changed the entire structure of the plugin. Rest assured, a migration tool will come in the future.

    Ok, i think this MUST BE integrated. I like the beta but i need an easy way to migrate all data (with one click) ??

    What about contact form 7 integration and woocommerce integrations. This can be a nice feature for the new version 3. CF7 is an additional plugin and i think it should be a major integration.

    What do you think?
