Would disabling access to XML-RPC from the htacess could affect search engines

    I recently blocked XML-RPC on the web server since I was getting a lot of attacks, but now I’m wondering if disabling access to XML-RPC could affect in any way the way search engine like Bing and others crawl, index, and show pages to users.

    Could anyone explain the effects of disabling XML-RPC?
