    This would have been perfect if I could control how topics are displayed via shortcode. Or which topics are displayed. That’s as far as I got. I loved the feel of it though.

    Well hi there. Yes, sure. What I mean is like if I have some topics and posts about dogs and some topics and posts about cats….a shortcode possibly could group them like:

    [discussion_topics topic=”dogs”]
    and
    [discussion_topics topic=”cats(or ID or whatever”]

    for example

    Of course, I have no idea how you would set that up. Thank you so much for the response. I really was super excited for a minute. But I do need to group topics.

    Thanks for getting back to me @stormd – in fact you can do this in the Pro version with categories and boards but I understand you might prefer to use just the free version.

    Would you consider revising your rating? It seems hard to rate the plugin only 3 stars for not having a feature it never claims to have.
