Would this be possible? Menu with sub nav changing on mouse over

I want to have a Menu where the secondary navigation changes on mouse over to the selected sub nav.
The only thing I have found is this on

It has two levels of navigation (in our example, main topics and their associated pages). Could this work with Simple Menus?
Anyone able to point me in a direction to achieve this?
