Wouldn't Activate, Now Won't Install

  • Ftp to the server (or use ssh) and remove the folder.

    You’ll need to ask your hosting provider to remove the folder for you then

    Sorry. Surely you have ftp access to the server so you can upload files there? It may be in your cpanel but a quick chat with the hosting company should provide you with how you can access the server to remove the folder.

    I only edit directly. I have FileZilla, but I’m afraid I don’t know where to start with it. Sorry to be totally ignorant, but this is my first hosted site, and the host told me a dozen different stories.

    I lost the site altogether twice since, so basically I have no security, and will change hosts.

    I appreciate your time.
