Wow. At last a great comments plugin.

This is my first time leaving a review for a WordPress plugin, and I have been using WP for 10 years! That’s how impressed I was with this. It’s been a great year for plugins and other WordPress developments.

This is so simple and easy to set up! It took me 2 minutes to set up and about 30 to write the css code I wanted and BAM.

The Ajax comments are really nice. The areas where you can control design and language are really well thought-out. The interface is intuitive and not busy at all.

I never liked any of the 3rd party comment systems, nor Jetpack comments. I don’t want to force my commenters to sign into a system if they don’t want to, but still have something that identifies them. I want them to be able to receive particular subscriptions (to all comments, to just theirs, etc.) (Although a 3rd party system, Muut came close to my likes, but I didn’t like commenters losing ability to edit their comments.)

I’ve tried 3 other comment plugins and they all broke at some point or I had to write functions to get things where i wanted them.

I’m a designer and really want fine control over the labels and css without having to write new functions. Now I don’t have to worry about things breaking if I change themes. All the important output is controlled in the plugin interface itself.
