WP 2.0 – Page 404

I can’t get Pages to work in 2.0. I’ve tried switching around the permalink structure. Regardless of which structure I choose,
https://bill.simonifamily.net/contact/ always gives a 404 and
https://bill.simonifamily.net/?page_id=302 always works.

My .htaccess file has permissions set to 666.

The example I used above uses the wp-contact-form plugin, but a “normal” page works the same. See:

https://bill.simonifamily.net/?page_id=303

Added: Last point that may be relevant. The 404 page isn’t in the theme format – just a plain error message.
