WP 2.0 upgraded but can’t assign categories, page order, etc.

  • I have upgraded to WP 2.0 and I really like the changes. However, I don’t seem to be able to assign categories or change page order, or any of the things one used to be able to do just below the editing area in WP 5.x.

    When I “Manage Pages” or “Manage Posts” there are “buttons” to the right of the edit area but when I mouse over them, all I get is the hand icon which allows me to move the buttons around but doesn’t allow me to click on the button.

    I need to be able to assign categories and page order. Can anyone help?

    Put your mouse over the plus sign, not the words, to open the options. If you can’t see the sign then I don’t know what to do.

    Ahh…I almost gave up when noexes said something about the plus sign. WHAT PLUS SIGN!

    Well, even though I can’t SEE the plus sign, when I move my mouse ever so slowly over the blue button, the “hand” turns to a “finger” and I can click and get another menu.
