• Hello, dear members,

I have a problem with WP 2016. In the edit mode, my pictures and galleries are positioned absolutely correct. When I publish them, they get messed, are not in line and are cut and not in a correct shape. See example link.

What could be the reason for that?

Thank you very much for any assistance.
    Cheers, Gerald

  • Hi, giraldocgn, what editor are you using (built-in Gutenberg or using the Classic Editor plugin)?

Hi Ian, I havn’t installed Gutenberg editor, so I assume, I use the regular one.
    Should I change to Gutenberg?

    Hi Gerald,

Do you mean the Classic Editor (it is a plugin that you can download to switch between it and the Gutenberg Editor)?

Sorry for the late response, was out of home….
I meant I don’t use an extra editor. I work with the built-in editor of the sixteen theme.

I also have this problem when I use the Gutenberg / block editor, displaying images using the image block. The preview is fine, but the published post has mis-sized and/or mis-aligned images (almost all of them, and not always consistently mis-sized or misaligned).

I use the classic editor for many of my posts and have no problem with these. Only the posts containing image blocks.

Edit: I just discovered I could fix this by disabling the Jetpack lazy load function. I had enabled lazy load functionality in another plugin, so perhaps this was the problem.
