• Hello all!

I would like to know if this is a bug in WordPress 2.0.3 or if it’s a web host thing…

I have an account in a blog (I am not set as Admin, so I don’t have a full Admin control panel access, but I can post articles and edit them) and when I enter an image tag (img src) in my post with either the “title” and/or the “alt” tag, the “title” and the “alt” don’t stick when I publish my entry on the blog.

When I go in the WP Dashboard to edit my entry, the “alt” and “title” have disappeared.

Does anyone know what could be the problem here?

    Thank you for your input.

  • You probably want to turn off the wysiwyg editor in WP. It hates code very much. :>)

Thank you very much for your speedy reply, samboll!

Is this the same as the WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically option in the Admin Dashboard? That’s what I thought at the beginning so I asked the Admin a couple of weeks ago to set it to “Off” but that still doesn’t change this “anomaly”.

If what you are suggesting is different, could you let me know where this setting is? I will notify the blog’s Admin.

    Thanks again!

DOH!!! Never mind, I saw what you pointed out to me! The Admin has switched this off and we will see if this has fixed the problem. Thanks again samboll.
