How do you change it back to technorati incoming links?? I can’t stand the fact that it’s pulling evil Google’s links.

https://feeds.technorati.com/cosmos/rss/?url=https://youraddress.tld should be the correct address (edit/feed address)

I tried doing that and adjusting the wp-admin/includes/dashboard.php file…but it hasn’t changed my dashboard in 2.5.

Thanks, Marcok for the advice. I changed the setting right in the wordpress admin section. I am getting the links; however, it now says “somebody linked here saying, “blah, blah, blah”. But it doesn’t say who. I have to click the link to go to the technorati page. It is annoying. Is there anyway to fix that?

No. Technorati’s feed does not give the author information. Google’s does (in the dc:publisher field).

    How about this variation…

What do I need to change to add a second “incoming links” widget on the dashboard so that I can have one for Technorati and one for Google?

I figured out how to do it on 2.3.3 but 2.5 is changed too much for my old hack to work.

You can read this post to display Technorati links on dashboard.

That post Rok linked to is giving a server error. Anybody want to just post the fix here?
