OK, I just upgraded from 2.3 to 2.5 and like most of the changes. My problem is in using the new image upload manager.

First of all, the manager comes up in my browser way down the screen and I am unable to move it up to see the entire JS window. Need some suggestions here! I am using IE7.

Secondly, how do I create galleries? I clicked the gallery tab and there is a blank text area but I can’t type anything into it.

Also, I get script errors when I click the upload image button and the image manager starts loading.

  • There are *many* users having *assorted* problems with the image uploader in 2.5 … and there are *many, many* threads about these issues on these forums.

To see what has already been, and is being, discussed about these issues, and to join the discussion, you should join in the appropriate thread(s) rather than start yet another.

There is a neat little “Search www.ads-software.com” Search box in the upper tight-hand corner of the screen to help you find these threads (make sure your check the “forums” check-box in the search screen!)

rlparker, been there done that before I even posted. Also did the search again today. None of the posts address the problem I posted about. Thanks for reminding me to do what I always do PRIOR to posting about a problem.

Now, if there is anyone out there who can provide some help, I would really appreciate it.

First, read this very carefully and follow the steps. These fixes do work for the majority of users. Really.

Next, if you get script errors or something like that, then posting what those errors are would be useful.

OK, it is an IE issue or my own system. I tried the fixes in the post above but it still has the same problem.

Tried it in firefox and all is well. I’ll mark this resolved because I found a way to work around the issue.

    Thanks Otto42.
