after my update to the recent wordpress version 2.9.2 I observed a weird behaviour. Independent if I allow or disallow the comments, you can always read under the post, that the comments are closed. Furthermore, if you are not logged in, on each post all the comments are shown, independend if the comments belong to the current post or not.

Seems to be related to the bug reported in this topic: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/391572?replies=6

I am not confident to downgrade again to 2.9.1 (the solution in the previous post).

    Any other solution anyone?

    Peter

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

Yep, the default theme seems to work, so I will need to work on the theme. Probably an incompatibility between the theme (atahualpa) and 2.9.2… Will work on that now.

    thanks,

    Peter

I have 5 sites which are all using the Fennel Theme.
I upgraded one of them from 2.9.2 to 3.1 and my Brialuxe Plugin is now a jumble on that site alone.
I want to revert to 2.9.2 until Bridaluxe catch up – but how do I achieve that please?
