wp 3.4.1 upgrade admin error

    I recently pressed UPGRADE NOW (to wordpress 3.4.1) from my admin panel and then seconds later, I am unable to log into my dashboard – it redirects me into a “No Page Found” page. Just to be clear, my wordpress is hosted in godaddy and I placed it in a separate directory (https://example.com/wordpress) Hope somebody could help me troubleshoot this I was unable to save my database ??

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php

    already reinstalled it and followed your steps but when i go to https://myeyesmycamera.com it gives me this:

    Warning: require(.wordpress/wp-blog-header.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/44/9442344/html/index.php on line 17

    Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘.wordpress/wp-blog-header.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5_3/lib/php’) in /home/content/44/9442344/html/index.php on line 17

    Looks like you missed some files in the upload. Did you re-configure WordPress to take over the root domain from a sub-folder called wordpress at one time?
