wp 3.4.2 threewp 1.12 not broadcasting

I installed 1.12 on my wp 3.4.2 network site.
Fixed the admin post type page errors on line 421 as mentioned in a previous post.
Selected sites to broadcast to, updated the page content and published.
None of the sites are updated. The original site shows the other sites linked.
Tried changing settings and removing line 421 fix but no broadcast no matter what the settings are.

sites were created with plugin: Add Cloned Sites for WPMU (batch)
Also have Role Scoper installed.
