WP 3.5 and Wp_post_thumbnail (without it my site is useless)

Hi there,

I got this problem i cant solve.
I use a great plugin wich hast been updated in years.
Now since wp3.5 i get this error:

Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in public_html/site/wp-content/plugins/wp-post-thumbnail/wppt.php on line 372 and defined in /public_html/site/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 990

I love this plugin, and witout is my site is useless.
So i hope that some one can help me out here.
The autor from this plugin is not here anymore i think, cause his site etc is offline. So i dont know how i can reach him.
Last updated for this plugin was like 4 years ago.
