  • fyi: I was having the same problem and am also a firefox and nextgen user but I just received and installed the NextGen 2.0.11 update and my problem is no more.

Thanks Andrew for the plug-in and for everyone’s collaborative trouble shooting. It’s great to problem solve as a group.

Hope you are all good again as well.

After updating to WP v.3.6 and also Twenty Eleven v.1.6, many buttons that normally showed disappeared, Trying to move them around in the settings page didn’t work and the kitchen sink button work properly. After many clearings of cache etc., I used the remove settings button, continued and then reloaded the page to the default values and then could rearrange the buttons again. This was the first time that I had done this and am happy with the result. It may also help with problems with certain buttons.

why would they release such an unstable version, when everyone including myself is having so many problems, can’t load any media, the hyperlink button doesn’t work on the front end ( works on the text side ) But what a pain in the rear end.

WordPress is always been so reliable in the past. Why would they would be such an unstable version that has been tested properly.

in the next version of WordPress, they should include a downgrade button as well.

    Fitguru,

I am not sure what issues you are having. The issue in this post was between two plugins with the culprit being NGG. WordPress and this release are extremely stable without issues. I have about 20 sites I oversee and this was the only issue that came up. I f you are having issues like you describe it is most likely an issue with a plugin or theme not being compatible with this version of WP. NGG has issued two releases since this post and is now there is no conflict.
