WP 3.6 upgrade caused Especial theme glitches

  • I just upgraded to the WP 3.6 and have lost my homepage sliders, logo and chosen color scheme for the whole site (my pages/content are still there as well as the menus for navigating but the appearance is tweaked)

    I had this happen once before with a previous upgrade, but was able to correct it by re-installing the upgrade (after deactivating the plug-ins, then reactivating after the installation). I did a site back-up prior to the upgrade–but I’m not sure where to go from here.

    I am not very code saavy but is there someone that can please help me restore the theme functions while maintaining the upgrade benefits? I appreciate any help I can get! Thanks in advance!
