    Hello,

We just updated to WP 3.8 and now the toolbar menu and posts/pages/about boxes have white/black lines under them. It’s fine when we’re installing a plugin though. It looks normal, but as soon as you get out of it and go back to back to the main dashboard, the lines are back. This is like this with all our sites as well. The only edit we did was on the wp-admin.min.css to make the admin logos 326px, but we reverted back and that didn’t fix anything. We haven’t installed any new plugins and we’re already de/reactivated our plugins.

    Here’s what we see: https://www.hampshirereview.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/menu.jpg

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Have you tried clearing any caching on your site?

I just did that and no change. However, on my MAC it looks fine. The PC is the one that’s not cooperating. Oddly, usually, it’s the other way round. I’m using FireFox for both and they are up-to-date.

Sounds like caching. Are you clearing your browser cache?

Yes, that’s what I did, also deleted cache within my dashboard.

We’re having major issues with 3.8. Now, not only is our dashboard messed up, but we cannot get to our widgets. Can suggestions on how to revert back to a prior version of WordPress until they get 3.8 fixed?

    Thanks!

Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

    Hello Esmi!

I tried on one of our sites and no change. I reactivated each plugin individually and still no difference. I’m not sure why it’s all messed up. Some of our sites have oodles of plugins, some only a few and all the dashboards are messed up. Everything looks like when you view it on a MAC, but I primarily use a PC. Any suggestions?

Can we see this site using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

    (@hr_web)

Sure. I did one of our sites because we’re currently updating our main site. It’s https://virginiapottery.com

    Is this a multisite installation?

    Thread Starter HR_Web

    (@hr_web)

No, this is a site on it’s own hosting.

Why have you switched back to your original theme?

    Thread Starter HR_Web

    (@hr_web)

Yes, but I can switch it back real quick.

Ok, reset to Twentyfourteen with plugins deactivated.

Without changing anything, can you take another screenshot of the admin area?
