WP 3.8.2 Limit Logins Plug Ins

  • Hi, Everyone:

    I’m a technical IDIOT who just barely managed to get my template & (supposedly) basic plugs setup about 2 weeks ago. Per Hostgator reference to a WP.org post, login limit plugins are critical. However, I noticed that the recommended app (Acunetix) has not been tested with 3.8.2 that I just installed a few minutes ago.

    Is there any harm in using a plugin that hasn’t been tested with the latest WP version? Im worried about crashing the site or some other disaster.

    If not, could you advise of best login limit plugin?
