• I upgraded a site that uses the Image Widget Plug-In today, after which I was unable to edit the site’s widgets. I seem to have traced the issue back to this plug-in. With it disabled, native widget functionality returned. I Deactivated, Deleted, and Reinstalled the widget, but the problem remains.

Hopefully this can be looked into soon, as I use the same plug-in on several more sites that I will soon be upgrading 5to WP 4.0.

  • I’m having the same problem

I’m having the same problem as well. Deactivating the widget has not brought back native functionality. I will keep hacking.

mwattsvic, have you tried deactivating all your Plug-Ins? Perhaps there is another one that is affecting widget behavior.

Same problem. When plugin is deactivated i can click around in Widget edit area.

I can confirm same is happening on wordpress 4.0

    Hey guys,

I recently upgraded a site to WP 4.0 as well and since doing so this plugin is still functioning, but the styling has disappeared from the captions. This is something that I’d like to amend as the previous styling of the site suited the overall aesthetic much better. Advice on how to overcome this would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks!!!

I have recently installed the plugin, and can confirm the compatibility issue with WP 4.0.

When I deactivate the plugin, I can edit the widgets and move them around. With the plugin activated, there is no interaction with the widgets.

Can confirm this is an issue to 4.1.

Activating this plugin seems to break the javascript functionality in the widget area.

    Same here

I just installed it again to test. And it works now. It is maybe conflict with some other widget plugin i dont have installed now as before.

Same problems with 4.1. I deactivated all plugins and when the image widget plugin is active then the Widgets do not appear properly. If I deactivate it then Widgets appear like normal.
