• Hi all,

I have a vanilla install of 4.5.2 and am having issues with the ability to add items to the menu (or even create a menu).

    To recreate

    – Go to Appearance > Menus.
    – Click ‘Create New Menu’
    – Enter Menu name
    – Click ‘Create Menu’

At this point the site redirects to the frontend homepage and the new menu is not created. Same redirect issue if I try to add a menu item to an existing menu and then click ‘Save Menu’.

Anyone else having this issue? Any idea on how to fix?

To clarify – this is a vanilla install. No additional plugins/themes. I have tried re-uploading a newly downloaded version of 4.5.2 and have dropped the database and re-installed. I have also, to double check it is a 4.5.2 issue, returned the site to 4.5.1 and all begins to work properly again.

    Eagerly await your thoughts.

    Will

sounds like a hosting issue to me, if it works on 4.5.1 and you’ve tried a couple of fresh installs of 4.5.2 and it breaks then it’s potentially the hosting environment…

I am having the same issue with a more recent install of WP. I am testing with a clean
    install now.
