WP 5.0 Beta 2 and 3 – Problem with customizer uploads in Paloma theme

    Hello people,

    Since Beta 2 there seems to be a problem with the customizer in certain themes. I’m using the Paloma Theme from Station Seven and from Beta 2 I can’t upload media from the customizer, which is a main function to be able to set up the theme. I’ve reported it to the Station Seven developers, but does anyone experience this with other themes?

  • Hi Susanne,

    I personally have not experienced this issue. However, a workaround would be to upload the media directly to the Media Library, then go into the customizer and add the URL to the media item.

    No one else has reported this, it seems to be theme specific. I’m marking this resolved because it’s something that needs to be addressed by that theme and not core.
