WP 5.7 and Load images on scroll.

  • Hi Friends,

    After updating to WP 5.7, should I switch off “Load images on scroll” function (in “Advanced options” >”Performances and SEO” of HUEMAN) as I guess this function is core within WP 5.7?

    Hi,
    Yes the lazy loading attribute is now added by default by WordPress. This attribute is not yet supported by all browsers that’s why the theme still includes the “Load images on scroll” option.
    You can try to switch the option off and check if there’s a performance impact on your site on gtmetrix.com
