Please I need help with the update to WP 6.6-es_ES. I am using version 6.5.5-es_ES on all my sites, I never had problems with updates, but now I only see “you can update to version 6.6-en_US”. My sites (menus and content) are all in Spanish.

Will there be a correction in the next few hours? From this version onwards, WP will only be updated in English?

I don’t know how to solve the problem. Thanks for your help!

    Regards,

    Mario

Language versions are built with little delay after main release,

in any case you can safely update to en_US version and get translations as language pack update (at same time)

Thank Yui for your attention, I will wait for the es_ES version

I have the same problem. The update to version 6.6-en_DE worked for several sites. For two sites I can only update to version 6.6-en_US.

    Hello Thomas,

I updated with 6.6-en_EN and it worked well. At the end, I had everything in 6.6-es_ES.

I did the same on my 4 sites and everything worked perfect.

Although this is the first time I have encountered this issue, let’s hope the development teams take note of this issue for future updates.

    Greetings

    Hello Mario,
I’m really grateful for this tip! I’d already thought about it, but I just didn’t have the courage to do it. Thank you for giving me the boost I needed – now everything is on DE!

    Many thanks again!

    Hello guys!

I’m also dealing with this issue. The button in the admin’s update page appears as “Atualizar para vers?o 6.6–en_US” (my installation is in brazilian portuguese).

But, I’ve tried to update despite of the “en_US” in the button, and appears that the WordPress updated correctly to my language (pt_BR).

Maybe it’s a mistake the label on the button?
