• Hello everyone,

    I’m really struggling with this…
    In context of WP 3.0.1 multisite.

    The wp-activate.php file which is used to take a user signup and turn it into an actual user and activate. The file has some actions in it.

    Unfortunately, the file has WP_INSTALLING defined as true at the very top which prevents any plugins from loading so obviously I cannot change the constant via a plugin because the plugin is never loaded. ??

    Any way of using the action hooks inside the wp-activate.php file within a plugin?

    Come on… there’s gotta be a way, please help me if you have any solution.

    All the best,
    Antonie

  • I use the wpmu_new_user hook during user signup to add user sub to another blog:

    function my_add_on_function( $user_id ) {
     add_user_to_blog( '63', $user_id, get_site_option( 'default_user_role', 'subscriber' ) );
    }
    add_action( 'wpmu_new_user', 'my_add_on_function' );

    What hook were you trying to use, and what were you expecting it to do?
