wp-admin access trouble

  • Hi there everyone

    I am unable to access my wp-admin page. When I type in the address on the address bar in explorer it doesn’t even find the page.

    My blog page comes up via the address https://photos-by-natalie.com/blog/ but for some reasons when I type the address for the admin page I get a 404 error message.

    I am a complete novice and I have read through all the forums and nothing seems to apply to this problem.

    CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME, PRETTY PLEASE?

    Thank you so much kmessigner!! How is it that it now has blog in the title. I’ve just checked back through all my hand written notes from when I set this up and it definitely didn’t have blog in it before?

    Seriously this crap is giving me high blood pressure! I’ll never be able to update any of this to new versions.

    You had to have installed in in a directory (folder) named blog.

    If you wnat to move it to the root directory check the documentation for moving WP to another or it’s own directory. It is not hard to do.
