WP Admin and Dashboard

  • Received the below message when trying to login and access WPadmin Dash.

    Looks like a problem with plugin ToolBar Extras.

    Suggested steps:
    -Create a backup copy of your files and database.
    -Access your plugin folder via your webhosting vendor’s file manager
    -Find the WP-Content folder.
    -Find the plugins folder.
    -Rename the folder containing the Toolbar Extras plugin files. That will deactivate the plugin and might allow you to login to WordPress Dashboard for further troubleshooting.

    Note that plugin page seems to have message: “This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.”
