wp-admin Blank Page

  • Hello guys.
    I’m having trouble with my cial.net website. When I try to load admin page (cial.net/wp-admin) it returns a completely blank page. I saw some topics about this, and I tried several approaches to solve it.

    I changed my plugins name folder, removed my actual theme… nothing worked. I set DEBUG to true, and I got the message “register_sidebar was called incorrectly…”, and I fixed that, and debug doesn’t return nothing at this time.

    Anyone with the same issue? Someone solve it already?

  • Hello malfafar,

    Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Hi @kpudlo, I did all that, but nothing worked. I decided to do all over again since I had the backup. Thanks anyway ??
