wp-admin can't be found …..

  • Hi I’m just starting out with blogging.
    i have spent the last 3h trying to solve this problem but no luck..

    After installing wp with quickinstall all is fine, but when i try to log in to mysite.com/wp-admin safari can’t load the page…(tested crome & firefox)
    This is the first time so i have not installed any plugins or alike.
    I have renamed pluginfolder just to se if it maters but no luck there.

    hi same problem here… i have reinstalled wordpress… and i cannot access wp-admin—showing like this.

    Not Found

    The requested URL /2015/wp-admin/ was not found on this server.

    Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    what to do?

    Chrisisme, that looks like the quickinstall failed. Are you sure the files are there, and were you able to run the installer? If so, try adding this to your .htaccess file (or a new file called .htaccess) in the same directory as your wp-config.php file:

    DirectoryIndex index.php index.html index.htm
