  • what site is up and running? The one in your profile isn’t…

Sorry HandySolo – I cannot post the site’s URL. Sorry if it clashes with the rules.

Just repeating – the wordpress installation is working properly.

The wp-admin folder went missing ( along with my MINT installation folder ). I just replaced them both – and they are working fine.

    Thank you all.

no-one can help you without a url. if wp-admin/ is gone, reupload the files.

what the hay do you want anyone here to tell you? how it happened? how do we know? ask your host.

Reuploaded. found how it happened ( raw access logs ).

I have a similar problem although I have the admin file, yet I can’t log in. When I try to log in I get an error that I don’t have privilages to do so. And the admin page looks stripped off most of the stuff.
I reuploaded the file and the problem persists.
I am new to this software, maybe that’s why I had four blogs hacked into lately and lots of problems. This one I am not able to resolve by myself.

ehab, how did you resolve it? It would be beneficial to others if they knew.

Sorry for the delay. My connection was down.

My problem was that the whole wp-admin directory went missing.

But the databases and other files were untouched. The site was running 100% perfect ( without administration, ofcourse).

I just re-uploaded the same version’s wp-admin folder – and it worked again.
