• I have been updating my site from my home for months with no issues.
Recently is started to get the following issues:
When sending more than 1 POST to trash, ie. selecting 10, I get no data received error.
When uploading images to a page I get HTTP error.
When editing a page with text, and previewing or saving I get Internal Server error.

After lots of testing I have discovered that is I do the same things outside of my home network, ie. friends house or internet cafe, then everything works great, no errors.

    I have no firewall.
My router has not changed since when it was working from home OK.

    Any ideas?

    thanks

  • Hi pxpworld,

Have you checked your error_log file on your server? It may tell you something.

Also which browser are you using? Are you using Chrome?

    Hi,
I have spoke with the support team of the host server and they say there is nothing obvious in the logs.

I have tried it with chrome, IE, firefox, safari, opera.

I have also tried it from my house on a windows laptop and a MAC mini.

    All same problem.

When I went to another LAN/WAN I used chrome.

    thanks

    Hi pxpworld,

Do you have any security plugins installed which may cause this issue?

Also do you have any other issues on your network like not being able to access your FTP etc? If so, ask your ISP if they blocked your IP? Also maybe try to reset your router if you know how to do it.

    Hello,
No, no plugins of this type.

I regularly up date other websites via FTP and have no issues.

Yes, I Will definitely speak to my ISP.

    thanks

    Thanks for all your advise.

I have spoke to the ISP and they have changed my IP address and now it all works.
They said that next time I must simply ask my host to unblock the IP address!
But my host said the IP address was not blocked!

    Anyway it is working!

    Hi pxpworld,

It’s good to hear it’s working now!
