I just upgraded WordPress to 5.5. When I finished the 5.5 upgrade I was kicked back to the home page from the admin page. I flushed the redis cache with flushall and when I go back to wp-admin it just redirects me back to the home page. When I delete the redis cache plugin from the system I can log in to wp-admin without issue. So it’s clearly something that the Redis plugin is doing. Any ideas?

I’ve deleted the plugin and reinstalled it with the same results (as soon as I activate it).

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

2.0.10 is out and should resolve the issue. If you delete the object-cache.php you should be able to get in, upgrade to 2.0.10 and enable the object cache again.

    Sounds like a plan.

Solved in my blog-only website. I have to test yet in a Woocommerce install.

    Thanks for your help.

Upgrading to 2.0.10 didn’t fix this. As soon as I enabled object cache wp-admin redirects me back to the home page.

I deleted object-cache.php and was able to log into the wp-admin, but it took away my permissions.

Try flushing your cache using “FLUSHALL” before and after enabling the drop-in.
