    Hi Support

If I d’like to enter the wp-admin page the page leads to the login page of your plugin. Also if I klick on the lost password link it leads to the wp-admin login. For now I have assigned the login page to WordPress default so I can login the dashboard. Can you help me to fix this? Thank you very much in advance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @beatricekunzi

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

When setting the Log In page inside Paid Memberships Pro to a page using [pmpro_login] this will replace the wp-admin page and handle the password recovery/reset features as well as the login page.

This will also redirect /wp-admin to the log in page URL set inside the Paid Memberships Pro page settings.

We do not redirect away from the wp-login.php page as a failsafe should you be locked out of your site.

To confirm your request here, you want to set a frontend login page and use that for your logins and password resets?

    Hi Andrew

Thank you for your reply. This is what Paid Memberships Pro does automatically when set up the pages, but the login page still gets redirected. I just want to set up a frontend login page for the members.

To setup a frontend login page for members, please do the following:

    1. Login to your WordPress dashboard.
    2. Navigate to the Memberships > Page Settings
    3. Generate a Log In page (if this isn’t available, create a WordPress page)
    4. Make sure the page has the shortcode [pmpro_login].
    5. Assign the page from step 3, to the Log In page inside Paid Memberships Pro.

This will then redirect default login pages (except wp-login.php) to this page set.

For anyone that comes across this ticket, you may stop the frontend login page redirects by setting the Log In page to “Use WordPress Default”.

    I hope this helps.

Hi Andrew, thank you very much for your reply. What you descripe is what I have done, but it still redirects and I have set the page back to WordPress default. I think I have to look for another plugin, sorry.

That is understandable Beatrice, there may be something else interfering with this redirection (another plugin or theme setting) and you may need to investigate it further.

If you do dig into this issue deeper, please let me know your findings and a way to replicate this on my end so we may debug it further.

I have encountered the same issue. When I visit the WordPress wp-admin page, it automatically points the Paid Memberships Pro front-end login page that I set up.

Is there a way to keep the PMPRO log-in from overriding the WP-Admin login page?

An example of how the redirect is written in the URL bar:

    websiteaddress.com/?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwebsiteaddress.com%2Fwp-admin%2F

    Hi

When I log out of the paid memberships pro as a user, it logs me out to the main WP admin page. I would rather it just be re-directed to the ‘log-in’ page. Is there a way to do this?

I can log in using my wp admin log in as I defaulted the log in back to wordpress default and the log in page is fine. I don’t want users to be able to see the wp-log out when they choose to log out.

Thanks for your help in advance.

I have tried everything to work around. Including putting to default and deleting my admin membership so essentially I don’t exist except as a member. If someone could do a video that shows this actually working. How to separate wordpress log in from paid membership. Absolutely out of options and already have work done.
