wp-admin load gives white screen

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

I manually reset my plugins as you suggested and isolated the problem (problem == no response, just white space) to the plugin WP-SpamFree. Deactivating this plugin solved the problem. Now everything seems fine. My version is 4.1.1

I see that plugin lists itself as only compatible up to WordPress 3.0.5, so it was bound to happen eventually. ??

Hey guys…if I can offer my two cents, I might be able to help. ?? WP-SpamFree hasn’t been in development or supported for a while now. (I was the original author of it for its first two years.) WP-SpamShield is the direct replacement for it, and is current with all PHP and WordPress standards.
