wp-admin locked

@sparksfreebies can you provide some more detail of what you’re meaning by this or what you’re seeing when locked out?

Extra information: was this in conjunction with possibly updating to version 1.5.3 which we released yesterday? or had you not gotten to that point yet?

I’m having the same problem. When I go to my site and the admin login I’m receiving the errors below.

updated to Version 1.5.3, we cannot login to wordpress admin when the plugin is activated, I can’t remember the exact error message on wp-admin, something about contact admin, problem with site, its a wordpress error page, and there is no place to login

I found the error, it was , The site is experiencing technical difficulties Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions

@sparksfreebies was this update with a brand new download/install from www.ads-software.com? Asking because we pushed up extra changes that are meant to address this, without bumping the version number.

What does the email say that got sent?

So I should delete plugin , download the latest and reinstall? I updated while inactive before to latest version.

Ahh. That error is different than the one we were perhaps anticipating seeing with regards to the 1.5.3 release. It’s also one that wouldn’t be resolved by re-downloading the plugin. Our apologies for mixing things up there.

For that error, it’s a case of your hosting server is having trouble connecting to our website for API communication. Your hosting support may be able to help more with that one, to see what sort of bottlenecks may be in place preventing communication.

Hosting said: See if there are any IP addresses we need to unblock from the server, or ports that are required to be open on this shared server. Keep in mind if it’s a port we need to open, there is a big chance we will not be able to do so as it’s a shared server environment, also any other information from that plugin dev. regarding what we need to check in relation to ‘bottlenecks’ will help as well.
