    Hi @nziakas78

I am sorry to hear that you have had a problem.

Can you provide a screenshot please via an image sharing service of the Wordfence block page that you see when you try to log in. Make sure to include the two timestamps at the bottom of the block page please.

To gain access you can use the guide below to manually disable Wordfence:

    Hi @nziakas78

    Thank you for the update.

That block page and block reason is for when someone tries to login with a banned username under the option Immediately block the IP of users who try to sign in as these usernames.

It’s possible that you haven’t configured Wordfence to detect IP addresses correctly and Wordfence is seeing hackers and everyone else, including you, as coming from the same IP address. If a hacker generated that block page then everyone else will see that block page until the block expires or until a proxy IP address possibly changes.

Once you have regained access I would like to have a look at your Wordfence diagnostics report so that I can check the IP detection for you. Please go to the top of the “Diagnostics” tab on the Wordfence “Tools” page. There will be a “SEND REPORT BY EMAIL” button to send the diagnostics report. Enter wftest [at] wordfence [dot] com as the email and nziakas78 as the forum username please.

Once you have emailed me the diagnostics report can you reply here to let me know that it has been sent. This is important in the unlikely event that your installation of WordPress is having an issue with sending mail.

    Hi @nziakas78

    Thank you for the update.

It appears that you haven’t set up Wordfence to detect IP addresses correctly and Wordfence is seeing hackers and everyone else as coming from the same IP address.

You can find your IP address below (note that this detection is not 100% accurate on cellular phone network connections):

    https://whatismyipaddress.com/

Make a note of your IP address.

In the How does Wordfence get IPs subsection of the General Wordfence Options section on the All Options page you will need to set and save the option Use the X-Real-IP HTTP header. Only use if you have a front-end proxy or spoofing may result. Make sure to save the change.
    ?
Do you now see your IP address on the line Your IP with this setting?

If you do, then the problem should be fixed.

yes i do but this would be great if we didn’t cooperate with over 10 more people that they also use creds for login to backoffice. If i select this option i believe that everybody else will have the same issue ? Is that correct ?

    Hi @nziakas78

    Thank you for the update.

Wordfence was not detecting IP addresses correctly. It appears that a hacker got blocked for trying to log in with a banned username. Wordfence was detecting the hacker and everyone else as having the same IP address. That is why everyone was being blocked. Now that you have fixed the IP detection problem then the log in problem should also be resolved.
