Wp-admin Loops

Hi,

I have recently transferred my wordpress site to a new subdomain and set up the database, i know i need to change all of the linking inside, but before i did that i thought i would change the site URL under General Settings. Once i pointed it to the new install on the other server, i know encounter wp-admin loops and cannot seem to get out of it, any advice? And im guessing i did not do this correctly?
