A number of our sites running v 3.6.6 have the wp-admin dashboard menu item missing. Backups seem to be happening with previously set jobs, but we aren’t able to access setttings. There do not seem to be any plugin or theme conflicts. Have you seen this before, and if so, can you point me toward some additional troubleshooting steps?

Are you access with Administrator role? Also, did you running on multisite or single site?

I deleted the plugin through FTP and reinstalled. Now everything seems to go well.

Deleting and re-adding the plugin does fix this issue, but I lose all backup jobs. I’ve tried bestfoodtrucks suggstion of deleting and readding via FTP (and also just overwriting), but that didn’t work for me.

Any ideas for how I could trigger the re-add without losing my jobs?

@duongcuong06 Yes I had the same problem.The plugin just disapeared from the Dashboard. I tried new installation, then system said no because already on server. That′s why I deleted then by FTP the folder and did new plugin installation. WOrkes fine for now. Greetz

Sorry about the delayed response, just to inform you that I create a feature request about keep the plugin setting after uninstall, so that may help others want to reinstall the plugin without losing jobs and settings ??

Ok. So no way to get this issue fixed on my affected sites currently without losing all our jobs? (Sigh….)

There’s no way to edit something in the db?…

Sorry for the delayed response,
yes that possible to uninstall the plugin without losing plugin settings, you would need to go to backwpup folder, edit uninstall.php file, remove line 13 to 17 ??
