I have the same problem. Can’t update. You can fix it by logging into your cpanel and going to your folders or by connecting to your server via FTP and you go to your WordPress install, go to wp-content, then plugins and then you rename the folder event-list to event-list-bak and then save that and your site will work again. If you use a backup tool (I use Updraft plus), you can then restore your plugin folder to get this back. Just don’t update it again or you’ll have the same issue. I thought it would be fixed by now, but apparently it is still occurring.

Hm, I cannot reproduce this issue.
Do you have access to log-files? Did you get any errors there which can help to identify the problem?
Can you provide you php and wordpress version again?

    Thanks in advance.

    Same error here:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_user_locale() in /home/content/95/11651295/html/wp-content/plugins/event-list/event-list.php on line 87

This is an issue of the actual plugin version with older wordpress version. It will be fixed in the next release.
