• hi guys,

i was doing an automatic upgrade to 3.0.1, it failed for 2 times, and when i refresh the page to have another try, the admin page turned blank… i’ve searched everywhere and tried to rename the plugins folder, looked for blank lines in function.php… but it didn’t work out…

any help will be much appreciated!!

i’ve re-tried the rename plugin foler method, and i received this error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function set_current_screen() in /home/mysite/public_html/mysite.com/wp-admin/admin.php on line 129

then i checked the admin.php file and found a blank line at the bottom, i deleted that line and uploaded the file back, but it still shows the same error message.

    what should i do next??

You have to do a manual upgrade with ftp to repair your broken wordpress install. Just to be sure, make a backup of your database
